Those small hollow forms are turned and hollowed through the little neck with bend tools.
The first series is turned out of precious local woods like strawberry wood or Judas wood, with a natural edge on the top (bark).
The second one is turned out of ash, sandblasted, dyed with Indian ink and gilding wax to create this metallic effect that I call the damascus.
The third one is also made out of ash sandblasted and dyed with Indian ink or natural for the white ones but the rim is added after, turned out of boxwood to create a contrast.
The last ones are textured with a dremel and sanblasted.
