This piece is yet another version of « Déchirure » (Again ?). The cloth has been turned and hollowed off-set on the lathe, then carved with powertools and gouges. It has been sandblasted under high pressure before being burned with a blowtorch to highlight the grain of the wood and the relief. The thorn is made out of elm, sandblasted and dyied with Indian ink and gilding wax.
