This bowl was turned and hollowed out of maple on the lathe. It was then colored with Indian ink on the inside and the outside with an airbrush. The top was colored with orange spirit stain with an airbrush as well. Then Iapplied a big drop of Indian ink on the edge of the hollowing turning very fast so it would explode and make the eye pattern.
