This piece is the externalization of a difficult day, I used this sculpture as an outlet, transforming a bad day in a victory. It is a positive piece even if it may not seem so at a first glance! The cloth has been turned and hollowed on the lathe, and then carved with powertools and gouges before being sanded, burned, and sanded again giving the piece a leathery texture. The central piece is also mapple that has been painted with red spray paint and on which a drop of Indian ink has been projected creating this spiral that look like an eye. The background is a black spray painted plywood that can be hanged on the wall.
