Plockwork! leather

Plockwork is a line of work inspired by another set of sculptures , Ploc!, by the steampunk movement and clockwork mecanisms for the metal plate texture. The teapots are made out of cherry, carved with a woodburner to make it look like leather, colored with Indian ink and acrylic paints using the dry brush technique. This new line of Plockwork with a teapot textured is allowing me to go further in the research of textures and the illusion of another material. The handles are made with a wire and a black string and also dyed with indian ink and gilding wax. The drop is turned and carved on the lathe, and textured with pyrography for the metal plates, and then dyed with Indian ink and gilding wax.
